HABITAT FOR HUMANITY INTERFAITH HOUSE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

BCF will join more than 11 faith organizations in the Atlanta area, including local churches, synagogues, mosques and temples to build a Habitat for Humanity house for a deserving member of the Atlanta community. If you’ve had the opportunity to participate in any of our previous interfaith builds, you know that this is a very rewarding experience. The house will be constructed over seven (7) Sundays, beginning on October 10th and ending on November 21st2010.

How Can You Help?

Be a volunteer: This is a wonderful opportunity to work side by side with people of various faiths while providing service to our community. Work days begin at 8:00AM and end at 4:00PM. You can sign up for as many Sundays as you’d like or split the day with another individual. No prior construction experience is necessary. Lunch will be provided.

Be a donor: BCF has committed to financial support of this project. If you’d like to help us meet our pledge, you can make your checks payable to BCF, with “Habitat for Humanity” in the memo line.

How soon to sign up?: Sign up now - don’t wait! You can sign up at church in the lobby beginning this Saturday, or send an email to BCFM@mindspring.com with your availability.
